Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Transformers The Movie with a remastered episode, we sit down with Flint Dille, author of The Gamesmaster: My Life in the '80s Geek Culture Trenches with G.I. Joe, Dungeons & Dragons, and The Transformers. As a legendary writer and story editor, his work shaped iconic '80s animation including The Transformers, G.I. Joe, Inhumanoids, Visionaries, and The Puppy's Further Adventures, along with penning the screenplay for the 1986 feature film The Transformers: The Movie. Beyond television, he is an accomplished game designer and narrative architect who has contributed to major franchises like Pokemon GO and blockbuster AAA titles alongside former Call of Duty developers. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with industry luminaries such as George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Ray Bradbury, and Gary Gygax, continuing a rich family legacy in pop culture as the grandson of Buck Rogers creator John F. Dille.
