Born in New Jersey to Caribbean parents, actress/comedian Michelle Buteau brings her unique perspective and big personality to stage and screen. Michelle can be seen in the Netflix movie ALWAYS BE MY MAYBE with Ali Wong and in the upcoming TALES OF THE CITY series, also on Netflix. She is one of the leads in the TV remake of FIRST WIVES CLUB for BET which will premiere this fall. Michelle has had stand-up specials on Netflix and Comedy Central, and was also featured on 2 DOPE QUEENS on HBO. She and Jordan Carlos’s popular live show ADULTING was just released as a podcast on WNYC.
